Auf dem Tisch steht: `Take time to enjoy the simple things in your life´. Genau so!

The happy greyness

We meet on a beautiful blue November day on the witch’s mountain. A black cat is sitting in front of the entrance. It was a test of courage for the children to go to the ‘spooky yard’ on the evening of Halloween. The deserted farm had become a spooky place in its many years of being vacant, but that is in the past and there is nothing scary there anymore. Creative types live and work here now.
Alex ‘is’ Mädchenschatz. She explains what she does herself best: “I am a seeker of things …I find old materials, furniture, things that would tell stories if they could …and hope to somehow bring them back to life.”
The community brought this 200-year old house back to life and it is written directly into ‘the happy greyness’:`Tu deviens responsable pour toujours de ce que tu as apprivoisé´ (you are responsible for what you have familiarized yourself with). Love for old things is everywhere and everything is mixed with a little Pippi Longstocking. You know: “I create my world diddle diddle as I like it…” Finally, we sit at the kitchen table with coffee, pastries and prosecco. Written on the table is : “Take time to enjoy the simple things in your life.” Exactly!
